- Combined with Detar 8
In particularly difficult cases to resolve – for example when faced with stubborn, sticky matter – it may be helpful to use Detar PS and Detar 8 together. This way the alkaline and oxidizing action is backed up by powerful mechanical dirt removal.
For this kind of application follow the procedure below:
- wash with cold water
- wash with hot water
- wash with Detar PS at 50-55°C for 30 min
- clean with Detar 8 and sanitize

Technical Details & Test Data
- Specific Formula for Periodical Cartridge Regeneration
Detar PS is a specially formulated product for optimizing filter cartridge and membrane regeneration operations when simple physical regeneration using water and/or steam leads to disappointing results.
Detar PS helps remove the organic fouling that progressively builds up and clogs filters with every cycle of use. Detar PS’s cleaning power is enhanced thanks to the surface-active agents which encourage contact between the detergent solution and the unwanted buildup, and at the same time prevent matter from depositing again. The sequestering action blocks the formation of calcium salts, which can be particularly harmful for both the membranes and the filtration apparatus as a whole.
