Recommended Applications

PEROXAN BCC-Paste 50 A is used for the curing of highly filled methacrylic resins, typically in combination with other curing agents of different reactivity, e.g. PEROXAN LP and PEROXAN PB. PEROXAN BCC-Paste 50 A shows a high reactivity at elevated temperature, which is demonstrated by ist low activation temperature, in combinatio with a relatively long pot life at ambient temperatures. PEROXAN BCC-Paste 50 A is used in combination with a low reactive peroxide to ensure a good final cure. These peroxide combinations can successfully be used for those applications where a long gel time is required at room temperature in combination with a fast cure at elevated temperatures of 60°C to 140°C. Applications areas can be cure-in-place-pipe (CIPP), pultrusion, filament winding, manufacturing of artificial marble. Depending on working conditions, the following dosage level is recommended: PEROXAN BCC-Paste 50 A as such: 2,0 to 4,0 phr PEROXAN BCC-Paste 50 A as kicker peroxide: 1,0 to 2,0 phr
