PEROXAN C-50 L is used for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient temperature in combination with cobalt accelerators. The curing system PEROXAN C-50 L and cobalt accelerator is suitable for the curing of laquers, spray putties and in hand lay-up and spray-up applications. Moreover the production of light resistant parts may be possible contrary to the curing system benzoyl peroxide / amine accelerator. In comparison to PEROXAN ME-50 L , PEROXAN C-50 L shows a more gradual cure with a lower peak exotherm in these applications. Depending on working conditions, the following peroxide and accelerator dosage levels are recommended: PEROXAN C-50 L: 1,0 to 4,0 phr PERGAQUICK C12 X (Cobalt, 1%): 0,5 to 3,0 phr

- Keep packaging tightly closed in a well ventilated place at indicated storage temperature. Keep away from reducing agents e.g. amines, acids, alkalis, heavy metal compounds (e.g. accelerators, driers, metal soaps). Never weigh out in storage room. Oxidizing agent. Decomposes violently under the influence of heat or by contact with reducing agent. Never mix with accelerators.
