PEROXAN M64 A1 X is used for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient temperature in combination with cobalt accelerators. With the curing system PEROXAN M64 A1 X and Cobalt accelerator a faster speed of cure can be obtained than with PEROXAN ME-50 LX; however high cure rates as achieved with PEROXAN A-40 L are not attainable. The gel times with PEROXAN M64 A1 X are in general similar to those with PEROXAN ME-50 LX. The curing system PEROXAN M64 A1 X and Cobalt accelerator is particularly suitable for the curing of laminating resins, and for applications where a shorter demoulding time is required than can be obtained with PEROXAN ME-50 LX; moreover the manufacture of light resistance parts may be possible contrary to the curing system Benzoyl peroxide and Amine accelerator. Depending on working conditions, the following peroxide and accelerator dosage levels are recommended: PEROXAN M64 A1 X: 1,0 to 4,0 phr PERGAQUICK C12 X (Cobalt, 1%): 0,5 to 3,0 phr

- Storage stability as from date of delivery : 6 months
- Keep packaging tightly closed in a well ventilated place at indicated storage temperature. Keep away from reducing agents e.g. amines, acids, alkalis, heavy metal compounds (e.g. accelerators, driers, metal soaps). Never weigh out in storage room. Oxidizing agent. Decomposes violently under the influence of heat or by contact with reducing agent. Never mix with accelerators.
