Recommended Applications

PEROXAN ME-30 LX is used for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient temperature in combination with cobalt accelerators. PEROXAN ME-30 LX is a lower concentrated version of PEROXAN ME-50 LX and is especially developped for spray-up applications when a more accurate dosing is required. The curing system PEROXAN ME-30 LX and Cobalt accelerator is particularly suitable for the curing of gel coat resins and laminating resins; moreover the manufacture of light resistant parts may be possible contrary to the curing system Benzoyl peroxide and Amine accelerator. Depending on working conditions, the following peroxide and accelerator dosage levels are recommended: PEROXAN ME-30 LX: 1,5 to 4,0 phr PERGAQUICK C12 X (Cobalt, 1%): 0,5 to 3,0 phr

  • Storage stability as from date of delivery : 6 months
  • Keep packaging tightly closed in a well ventilated place at indicated storage temperature. Keep away from reducing agents e.g. amines, acids, alkalis, heavy metal compounds (e.g. accelerators, driers, metal soaps). Never weigh out in storage room. Oxidizing agent. Decomposes violently under the influence of heat or by contact with reducing agent. Never mix with accelerators.
