PEROXAN PIN S1 is used for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins in combination with a cobalt accelerator e.g. PERGAQUICK C100 in the temperature range of 60°C and higher. PEROXAN PIN S1 plus a cobalt accelerator can effectively be used as a replacement for PEROXAN PO in those areas where the use of PEROXAN PO is restricted by ist official transport and storage temperature of max. 20°C. Applications areas for the cure system PEROXAN PIN S1 plus a cobalt accelerator can be e.g. artificial marble, polymer concrete, etc. The combination PEROXAN PIN S1 plus a cobalt amine accelerator e.g. PERGAQUICK C24 AX is very suitable for the ambient temperature cure of vinylester resins. Depending on application and working conditions, the following peroxide and when applicable cobalt accelerator dosage levels are recommended: PEROXAN PIN S1: 1,0 to 2,0 phr PERGAQUICK C100: 0,1 to 0,5 phr

- Storage stability as from date of delivery : 6 months
- Keep packaging tightly closed in a well ventilated place at indicated storage temperature. Keep away from reducing agents e.g. amines, acids, alkalis, heavy metal compounds (e.g. accelerators, driers, metal soaps). Never weigh out in storage room. Oxidizing agent. Decomposes violently under the influence of heat or by contact with reducing agent. Never mix with accelerators.
