With time and dedication a seed becomes a beautiful tree. Thus the Petruz Fruity Group has grown to become a tree with more than 3 decades of history. Its fruits promote its ideals, bringing FLAVOR, HEALTH AND ENERGY to an increasing number of people in the most diverse parts of the world.

THE ROOTS OF OUR HISTORY

It all began in 1982 when the Silva Santos family, immigrants from the Brazilian state of Paraíba, moved to Pará in search of new opportunities and a decent life through the trade of the acai fruit. At that time, the family started to buy the fruit from the state of Maranhão, and sold it at the Ver-o-Peso market in the capital city of Belém.

Gradually, the Silva Santos were expanding trade in other regions near Pará and were gaining more and more knowledge regarding the quality and supply logistics of AÇAÍ. Subsequently, the family started to work in small acai pulp processors until the installation of the first industrial park in 2005.

All this experience has been passed on from generation to generation, which makes Petruz's way of processing something different and unique associated with an incomparable relation of quality/price ratio. Currently, the company is managed by the second and third generation of the family and already has more than 30 years of knowledge of this wonderful Amazonian fruit. Today Petruz has marketed to over 30 countries and is physically present in three companies abroad, growing and sharing Flavor, Energy, Health and Education globally and perpetuating generations.
