Teraflow® 5301 is designed to impart mar resistance and slip to water-based trade paints and industrial coatings. Teraflow® 5301 provides a smooth surface to the coating film and helps the film to resist scratches and abrasion. It minimizes orange peel, fisheyes and craters. When properly formulated, Teraflow® 5301 helps reduce blocking problems in can, coil and hardboard coatings.
- Recommended Use Levels
Teraflow® 5301 contributes mar resistance and slip at a level between 0.1% and 0.3% of the total weight of the coating formulation. Teraflow® 5301 is normally added to the finished paint prior to let-down.

Teraflow® 5301 is a polyether modified dimethyl polysiloxane copolymer surfactant recommended for use in a wide variety of trade paints and industrial coatings that contain water. It lowers the surface tension of the liquid coating, improving substrate wetting, flow, leveling and gloss.
