Teraflow® 5304 is recommended for a wide variety of solvent-based coating to improve slip and resistance to mar, scratches and abrasion. It also imparts excellent flow and leveling characteristics to the liquid coating, providing a smooth finish to the coating film.
- Recommended Use Levels
Teraflow® 5304 is recommended for use at a level ranging from 0.1% to 0.3% of the total formulation weight to produce a coating with excellent mar resistance and slip properties. Teraflow® 5304 is added to the finished paint before let-down.

Teraflow® 5304 is a modified polysiloxane copolymer surfactant that contributes slip to the surface of a coating, resulting in extremely effective resistance to mar, scratches and abrasions. It is useful in a variety of solvent-based coatings, including all types of baked finishes and catalyzed coatings systems. Intercoat adhesion and recoatability should be evaluated for coatings subjected to high temperatures
