- Features
- ADNYL® TP‐15138 can be extruded like PE, using a normal PE extruder.
- Due to highly polar nature of the top layer, surface energy of this untreated film is greater than 36 dynes/cm.
- It can be further enhanced by corona treatment.
- The film is thus highly suitable for surface printing applications.
- Compared to normal 3‐layer PE films, film with ADNYL® TP‐15138 as one of the layers will have superior gas and aroma barrier capability.
Applications & Uses
- Plastics & Elastomers Processing Methods
- Applications & Uses
ADNYL® TP‐15138 can be used as top layer in a 3‐layer co‐extruded blown film structure such as :
Outer Layer Middle Layer Inner Layer Nylon alloy TP‐15138 (100%)(Nylon content: 80%) BindEX TP‐15114 (45%) + LLD5401 (55%) LLD5401 (80%) + LD1005 (20%) + AB (0.3%)

- Note
- Film properties were measured on 75 micron, 3 layer film with structure : Nylon alloy TP‐15138 (Outer)/ BindEX E‐189 + LLDPE (45:55) (Middle‐ Tie‐layer)/ PE (Inner‐sealant layer).
- The above information is based on trials done to establish processability of the material in co-extrusion.
- Depending on end application, Nylon alloy composition can be tailor made to meet requirements of film making, conversion and product performance.
