This makes it useful as adhesion promotor when added to a polyolefin based hot melt composition. Being a low molecular weight polymer, it blends well with other ingredients in the composition. NOVIS P-492 is a polymer with narrow molecular weight distribution, which can impart higher mechanical strength compared with that provided by conventional waxes.
