When Polygel is stored under dry and cool conditions, in the, unopened original package and in a well – ventilated area,, Polygum can be used safely in foodstuffs for minimum 24, months. It is a general fact, that natural hydrocolloids lose, viscosity over time., Tobacco beetles (Lasioderma serricorne) present in, warehouses are a danger for Locust bean gum, even in, unopened original bags. If bigger quantities of Locust bean, gum are stored, we propose an insect monitoring with, specific pheromone traps., Food, Specifications Unit, max. 2 ppm
