PUREfos 126 is an organo-phosphite processing stabilizer exhibiting high performance which protects polymers from thermo-oxidative degradation during processing. This is done by decomposing hydroperoxides to form non-radical and non-reactive product.

Functions: Secondary Antioxidant, Stabilizer

Chemical Family: Phosphites

Compatible Polymers & Resins: Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA), Polyethylenes (PE), Polypropylenes (PP), Styrene Copolymers

Synonyms: 3,9-Bis(2,4-ditert-butylphenoxy)-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecane, 3,9-Bis[2,4-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)phenoxy]-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecane, Bis(2,4-di-t-butylphenyl)pentaerythritol diphosphite, Bis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl) pentaerythritol diphosphite, Bis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)pentraerythritol diphosphite, Cyclic neopentanetetrayl bis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl phosphite), Di(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl)pentaerythritol diphosphite, Pentaerythritol bis(2,4-di-tert-butylbenzyl) diphosphite, Pentaerythritol bis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl phosphite), Pentaerythritol bis(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl) diphosphite

Features & Benefits

Key Attributes

PUREfos 126 protects degradation of polymers during the processing steps compounding, pelletizing, fabrication, recycling) due to its characteristic of high performance solid organo phosphite. In addition, PUREfos 126 produce high performance at low concentration levels, and synergistic performance when used together with primary antioxidants and UV stabilizer.

Applications & Uses

Use Level
0.05 - 0.15%
Product Applications

PUREfos 126 areas of application and substrate include polyethylene, polypropylene and ethylenevinylacetate copolymers, which provides outstanding processing stability. Other polymers that can use PUREfos 126 also include adhesive, elastomers, engineering plastics, styrene homo- and copolymers, polyurethanes and other organic substrates.

PUREfos 126 may be use in range between 0.05 – 0.15%, depending on substrate and performance requirements of the final application. PUREfos 126 can be used on its own or can be blend with other primary antioxidants UV stabilizers where often a synergistic performance is observed.
