Technical Details & Test Data
- Properties
PEHMA is part of the poly(alkyl methacrylate) family and known for:
- Adhesion
- Chemical resistance
- Flexibility
- Hydrophobicity
- Weatherability
PEHMA is incredibly robust while remaining flexible, and when pressed into a film at 1.5 micron thickness it allows for >92% visible light transmittance with <1% haze in the visible spectrum.
- Product Specifications
PEHMA is offered as a granular solid with <2000 ppm of solvent and <1000 ppm of monomer for research and medical grade applications and can also be supplied as 50% wt solids in cyclohexane for commercial applications.
PEHMA is analyzed through inherent viscosity to meet the following specification range:
Inherent Viscosity (@ 25°C in Toluene) 0.7 – 1.3 dL/g Should your application require a specific IV range, Polymer Chemistry Innovations can tailor manufacturing to precisely meet your needs.
