Armorflex® 953 Base White gel coats are high performance, iso/npg products that display desirable high gloss buffback® qualities. Buffback® qualities of these gel coats are demonstrated as:easier, quicker gloss recovery less buffing time to achieve gloss .Higher gloss recovery when polishing back aged or exposed gel coat surfaces.Higher gloss in the repair patch and surrounding refinished area.Higher gloss recoverability from lower gloss molds. Higher gloss can be perceived as a deeper, richer color, providing an enhanced cosmetic appearance to the gel coated part. While offering these benefits, the Armorflex® 953 series gel coats have retained the important construction application qualities expected from ccp gel coats, such as resistance to porosity, tearing, and color separation; sag resistance; consistent liquid properties; excellent patchability; and more. All of these properties contribute to the high quality appeal in FRP parts made from ccp high gloss Armorflex® buffback® gel coats. Gel coats in this series resist weathering and blistering because they are formulated to give high performance against water and certain chemicals, although blister resistance is best with gel coats in the 943 series. Gel coats in the 953 series are made with neopentyl glycol Npg and were primarily developed for sanitary and quality marine applications; however, they should be used in any FRP application where high performance characteristics are desired. 953 gel coats utilize this unique glycol to provide a gel coat that surpasses previous commercial gel coats in its resistance to blistering. They also contain isophthalic acid iso as a cocomponent rather than orthophthalic acid. The isophthalic functionality is used, rather than the orthophthalic to complement the NPG for better end use properties. These gel coats provide durable, reduced maintenance products. These gel coats have enabled customers to meet and surpass all requirements of the American national standard for plastic bathtubs, shower receptors and shower stalls, ANSI Z124.1, .2 and .3 –1995, sec. 6.1.1.

Higloss TR® 99R Base White gel coats are high performance products formulated for the reinforced plastics composites industry.

Polynt Group 23V, 23VX - tooling gel coat; suitable for molds; cures to a very hard and resilient surface with a high gloss; high heat distortion temperature. It is generally used in composites applicatons.

POLYCOR® ISO NPG PA WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated gel coat based on Isophthalic Neopentylglycol unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This high performance gel coat is formulated for use in sanitary and marine applications or GRP application where resistance to water and blistering are needed.

STYPOL® 040-4917 is a clear,acrylic modified NPG® isophthalic gel coat. STYPOL® 040-4917 has been designed for use in the manufacture of cultured marble,onyx,and granite.

Polycor® Tooling VE BR Neutral 0000 - speciality vinyl ester based gel coat formulated to provide our highest level of heat resistance. A high gloss durable surface, resilient to the repeated molding cycles of composite production. High levels of styrene and chemical resistance.

Polycor® 969 Colors - sanding, MACT compliant gel coat for use in manufacture of FRP parts to be painted. Excellent sanding properties and good elongation. Can be used for room temperature and heated molding applications. Main applications areas are aeronautical, railway sector, textile industry etc.

Armorguard® 967 Black have been formulated as barrier coats to reduce osmotic blistering, and as print blockers, to provide a smoother gel coat finish.

EPOVIA ORTHO SP - Orthophthalic,good workability,available in a range of white and or color. Main Applications areas are Agrochemical,Agrobusiness,Solvents etc.

Polycor® Tooling VE SP gel coats are specifically formulated with selected vinyl ester resins that exhibit high heat distortion temperature to withstand the repeated molding of FRP laminates. They provide a high gloss and hard durable surface. These tooling gel coats are ready to be sprayed after the addition of the proper amount of the appropriate of promoters, then the right amount of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide. Read application instructions carefully, because even though manufacturing precautions are used to make tooling gel coat, a misapplication of these products can produce unacceptable results.

ARMORFLEX® 99F PA 9199 - A pre-accelerated gel coat based on Isophthalic Neopentylglycol unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.In conjunction with vinyl ester barrier coats or skin coats will provide a durable osmotic resistant composite suitable for marine hulls.

POLYCOR® LSC NPG FLEX BR WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated gel coat base on unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This high performance gel coat is formulated for use in sanitary and marine applications or GRP application where resistance to water and blistering are needed.

Polycor® Fireblock 2335 SP - intumescent fire retardant properties that conforms to EN 45545 for internal panels in conjunction with fireblock resin systems. Main applications areas are home and domestic applications, mass transports etc.

Polynt Group 222X is clear and transparent for granite applications. It is generally used in composites applicatons.

Polynt Group 32X series are barriers type coatings developed for the composites and fiberglass industry. The 32X series have been formulated to reduce osmotic blistering, and as a print blockers, to provide a smoother gelcoat finish. This barrier coat was primarily developed for parts that are in conditions with prolonged contact with water and reduce the risk of water blistering. The 32X barrier coat are formulated to result with a fast cure, sagging resistant and ready-tospray after the addition of the proper amount of appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide catalyst. Normally, dark Colors help to detect and eliminate air bubbles. However, it also can affect the quality of the final product. Contact you representative to have more details on Colors available. Because these 32X series barrier coat are formulated with special additives they have a fair resistance to UV and are not recommended for direct sunlight exposure. It would result in rapid chalking and fading.

Polycor® iso NPG SP - isophthalicnpg, excellent water resistance, chemical resistance, good UV resistance, good gloss retention available in a range clear or color variants. Main applications areas are agrochemical, agrobusiness, building and construction, furniture etc.

Polycor® 949 Neutral Base sanding gel coats have been specifically formulated for use as a sanding substrate. Sanding gel coats are used for FRP parts that will be subsequently painted. They can be used for room temperature and heated molding rtm applications. Customer experiences have proven that these products can be post-baked at temperatures up to 285°f for as long as two hours. They may also be used for utility, noncritical exterior applications. They are not intended Nor should they be used as a surface coat for the marine, tub/shower or swimming pool industries. They should not be used for water immersion service boat hull, swimming pool, spa, water tank, etc. , even if/when painted.

POLYGEL 969 - Easy to sand when cured; easy application by electrostatic painting; reduces waste during application onto the substrate. Main Applications areas are Composites,Industrial sector,Mass Transports,Railway Sector etc.

Polycor® 945 Neutral Base - polyester and vinyl ester tooling gel coats. Formulated specifically for mold making. High gloss and hard, durable surfaces. It is generally used in textile industry applicatons.

ArmorFlex® 963XK161 gel coat is a high performance product formulated for the marine industry. ArmorFlex® 963XK161 meets the EPA National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Boat Manufacturing and Reinforced Composites Construction. ArmorFlex® 963XK161 possesses important construction application qualities,such as: resistance to porosity,tearing,and sag,consistent liquid properties,and good patchability. These characteristics result in the production of high quality parts.

Armorflex® 960 - standard iso NPG gel coat; excellent blister resistance; resistant to certain chemicals. Main applications areas are building and construction, composites, industrial sector etc.

POLYCOR® 960SW Series gel coats are ISO/NPG products formulated for the swimming pool industry. POLYCOR® 960SW Series gel coats meet the EPA National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Reinforced Plastic Composites Production - Corrosion Resistant/High Strength or High Performance gel coat. Use of POLYCOR® 960SW gel coat has enabled customers to meet certain requirements of the American National Standard for plastic bathtubs,shower receptors and shower stalls,IAPMO/ANSI Z124.1 .2-2005,Section 6.1. For swimming pool applications,Polynt recommends that these gel coats be backed by IMEDGE® HPB210 High Performance Barrier Coat,Polynt’s ArmorGuard® vinyl ester barrier coat products,or Polynt’s ArmorStar® VSX vinyl ester skin resins. Use of these materials will create a durable osmotic blister resistant composite that is ideal for swimming pool manufacture. These gel coats are intended and recommended only for the original manufacture of swimming pools; they should not be used for post application (other than patching on the original units). These gel coats are not recommended for the manufacture of spas or saunas. While offering these benefits,these POLYCOR® gel coats have retained the important construction and application qualities expected from Polynt Composites gel coats,such as resistance to tearing and color separation,resistance to porosity,sag resistance,consistent liquid properties,and more. These all add up to higher quality appeal in swimming pools made with Polynt POLYCOR® products.

Polynt Group 25 series gelcoats are formulated from premium polyester resins and fire retardant additives to achieve optimal fire retardancy properties and low slow smoke development. They are suitable for applications requiring a surface with resistance to flame spread and smoke development.

Polynt Group 21X series isophthalic gelcoats are high quality coatings developed for the fiberglass industry. These gelcoats provide quality finishes and deliver good water resistance, gloss retention and weathering. They are shock proof and can support moderated thermal variations. These gelcoats are formulated to meet the requirements of transportation*, truck cabs, sanitary applications and boating. For parts with a prolonged contact with water, we recommend an npg/iso base gelcoat. 21X series gel coats are ready to use, sag resistant, fast curing and require only the addition of a proper amount of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure. These gelcoats are available in a wide range of eye-appealing colors. POLYCOR® M1 BR WHITE - A pre-accelerated gel coat base on unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.Product is recommended for the manufacture of industrial pieces requiring additional fire retardence. The product was designed for INTERNAL pieces ONLY.

Polynt Group 22, 22-01 - superior waterimpact resistance and weathering properties; resistance to staining, chalking, crazing and cracking; high gloss retention; easy sprayability. It is generally used in composites applicatons.

POLYCOR® TOP COAT PA WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated top coat based on Isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This TOP COAT product is formulated to be applied to the back surface of laminates to provide a tack free surface finish. It should not be used as a gel coat. This topcoat is formulated to meet the rigid requirements of transportation,boating and sanitary applications.

POLYCOR® LSC NPG FLEX PA WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated gel coat base on unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This high performance gel coat is formulated for use in sanitary and marine applications or GRP application where resistance to water and blistering are needed.

Polycor® 998 Base White series enamels are formulated to be used as topcoats on fiberglass laminates. Enamels are very similar to gel coats except they cure tack-free on the open surface. Enamels are used to seal and hide a substrate. Normally they are used as interior finishes and yield a pigmented surface. Polycor® 998 series enamels were primarily developed for marine applications; however, they can be used in any FRP application where high performance characteristics are desired. Polycor® 998 series enamels produce a hard, tough, durable coating that reduces maintenance on composites parts. Polycor® 998 series enamels cure to a flat finish. Standard enamels should not be used for water immersion service due to potential water spotting and water blistering. Contact a sales representative for a recommendation if water immersion is required. Polycor® 998 series enamels meet the EPA national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants NESHAP for both marine manufacturing and reinforced composites production. Polycor® 998 series enamels contain wax. The wax is essential to yielding a tack-free surface in the top coating application. The wax also helps to suppress the volatile organic compounds emitted in to the air. Together the low VOC or hap content and wax results in:reduced monomer emissionsless odorsmoother sprayed film less orange peel less overspray due to the wax, Polycor® 998 series enamels should not be used as an in-mold coating where they will be backed by laminate or other materials. Delamination could occur. Enamels require only the addition of the proper amount of the appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure. These enamels are available in White or any of the Colors listed in the standard gel coat color card. Special Colors are available upon request.
