PPG LO-VEL® 6200 silica is a synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide flatting agent designed for use where a Hegman value of 6.5 is required. A combination of high flatting efficiency, narrow particle size distribution, ease of dispersion and resistance-to-settling makes this product ideal for overprint varnish and other non-pigmented finishes where clarity, uniformity and smoothness are essential.

PPG LO-VEL® 8300 is a synthetic amorphous precipitated silica treated with a functionalized wax. This product is designed for use in waterborne and solvent-borne coatings. Lo-Vel 8300 silica is suitable for coatings with dry film thickness down to less than 1 mil.

PPG LO-VEL® 8100 flatting agent is high-efficiency flatting agent that is idea for use in a variety of coating systems. Lo-Vel 8100 flatting agent is a synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, wax-treated silica designed for use where a Hegman value of 6 to 6.75 is required. A combination of high flatting efficiency, resistance-to-settling and heat-age stability provides formulation flexibility and expanded process capability.

PPG LO-VEL® 2023 flatting agent is a synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, wax-treated flatting agent with performance similar to silica gels in coating formulations.
