"PQS is a Chemical-Textile Industrial Complex that aims to produce the main inputs of polyester in its various forms.
Strategically located in the Suape Industrial Port Complex, in Pernambuco, with excellent capacity for transporting and receiving products by sea and land, the Complex is formed by two companies: Companhia Petroquímica de Pernambuco, PetroquímicaSape, and Companhia Integrada Têxtil de Pernambuco, Citepe. The former produces purified terephthalic acid, known as PTA, and the latter is responsible for the manufacture of polymers and polyester and resin filaments for PET packaging."
