Uses

XtraBond® 9550 can be used for a variety of applications including, but not limited to, doors & windows, roofng, fireplaces, marble & granite, architectural metals, siding, RV/trailer manufacturing & repair, etc.

Direction for Use
  • For best results, prepare a clean surface.
  • Cut nozzle to desired bead size.
  • Apply with caulking gun, forcing sealant onto the substrate, then tool if needed.
  • Clean excess material with mineral spirits or similar solvent.
Surface Preparation

The substrate must be clean, frost free and free of any oils, greases or incompatible sealers that may interfere with adhesion. Do not apply if surface is contaminated. It is recommended to test all substrates prior to applications. Primers are not required for most substrates.

Curing

Under normal conditions (70°F, 50% RH) material cures at roughly ¼” in 48 hours. The higher the humidity and temperature, the faster the cure.
