Phoniton™ MCA-15 is a kind of high effective nitrogen halogen free flame retardant. It is very stable when the temperature is lower than 300°C. However, sublimation will happen when the temperature is above 350°C. The decomposition temperature of Phoniton™ MCA-15 is 440°C~450°C.

Phoniton™ MCA-15 is in high content of nitrogen, and it will dehydrate to carbon while in high temperature, and it will also release N2, CO2 and water while burning. As a flame retardant, it works through absorbing heat and releasing incombustible gasses after sublimation. Phoniton™ MCA-15 flame retarded TPE will achieve UL 1581 VW-1. It has good compatibility with TPE system and helps reduce blooming phenomena.

Applications & Uses

Application

It can be used as flame retardant in wire and cable that made of TPE, Pa tubes and epoxy resin sealant.
