Due to the encapsulation, the final formulation does not change color over time compared to the unencapsulated fructose 1,6-diphospahate (see compatibility section). This material is readily soluble at 25°C.

Formulation Guidelines

• Suggested final formulation pH 4 - 5.5
• Add to water phase prior to emulsification Ensure it is completely solubilized before continuing the formula
• BioGenic ERP-200 may contribute to overall salts in the formula
• Use of carbomer thickener not recommended
• No sensitivity to homogenizer or high agitation mixing
• Not temperature sensitive
• May effect color of acid-sensitive colorants
• Not recommended for use in anhydrous products

Technical Information

The encapsulation is formed by an “oligomer complex”. Oligomer complex technology utilizes a highly hydrophilic polymer (dextrin) to encapsulate the active. Below is the schematic of the encapsulation:

Compatibility/Stability

Stability Test: Biogenic ERP-200

• Water solutions with Biogenic ERP-200
• pH was adjusted to 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, and 7.0
• Testing conducted at 4°C, 25°C, 45°C and 50°C
• Color/pH was monitored monthly for 3 months
• Use levels tested: 2% and 4%

Below are the results after 3 months stability. The samples are ordered from left to right: 4°C, 25°C, 45°C, and 50°C.
