Meso 4 SC Select™ is a herbicide that can be used for both pre and post-emergence control of more than 45 broadleaf weeds and grasses in turfgrass. Classified as a Group 27 herbicide, Meso 4SC Select™ inhibits photosynthesis in susceptible plants and is absorbed systemically through leaves, roots and shoots. Meso 4SC Select™ can be effectively used for weed control prior to and when seeding of specific types of turfgrasses.

    User Safety Recommendations

    Users should:

    • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.
    • Remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
    • Remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
    Directions For Use
    • It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
    • Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

    Precautionary Statements

    Hazards to Human and Domestic Animals - Harmful if absorbed through skin. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing.

    Personal Protective Equipment - Applicators and other handlers must wear:

    • Long-sleeved shirt and long pants
    • Shoes plus socks
    • Chemical Resistant gloves (barrier laminate, butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, neoprene rubber, natural rubber, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), or Viton)

    Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry

    Environmental Hazards

    Do not apply directly to water or to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water or rinsate.

    Storage and Disposal
    • Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
    • PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place. Store in original container and out of reach of children, preferably in a locked storage area.
    • PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Pesticide spray mixture or rinsate that cannot be used should be disposed of in a landfill approved for pesticides. Improper disposal of excess pesticide spray mixture or rinsate is a violation of Federal law. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by the use according to label instructions, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency or the Hazardous Waste representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance.
    • CONTAINER HANDLING: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Empty residue into application equipment. Offer container and foil bag for recycling, if available, or dispose of container and/or foil bag in a sanitary landfill or by incineration, if allowed by State and local authorities
