- Composition
An inorganic base grease will not melt as soap base greases do. Moly-D, which has proven superiority over the more common form of black moly, and a new extreme-pressure additive combine to give the best antiwear and anti-seize protection over the widest range of operating temperatures and pressures. Primrose combines these components with a high viscosity, low volatility base oil and special oxidation inhibitors to produce its construction and industrial grade grease.

- Uses
This grease is especially recommended for heavy duty applications in construction and mining equipment in temperatures or operating conditions above freezing. It is also recommended for extremely high temperature industrial applications in brick and tile plants and steel mills, and where exceptional water resistance is required such as water treatment plants. For temperatures below freezing or extremely cold temperatures, 327 Armor Plate with Moly-D in No. 2 and No. 1 grades is recommended.

Technical Details & Test Data
- Performance Characteristics
Moly-D outperforms molysulfide in side-by-side test results, exhibiting superior anti-wear and anti-oxidant properties. Armor Plate Construction and Industrial Grade Grease has unsurpassed oxidative and thermal stability at extremely high temperatures.
Wear tests show that Armor Plate Construction and Industrial Grade Grease allows much less wear and gives increased load carrying capability while lowering grease operating temperatures in actual service.
Armor Plate Construction and Industrial Grade Grease can characteristically be used as a "high temp" lubricant for a wide range of applications where the "non-melt" feature of the grease will prevent loss of the lubricant due to melting where the bases of other greases actually turn to liquid. It is engineered to resist rust, oxidation, and corrosion while reducing wear and keeping operating temperatures down. In addition, it has exceptional water resistance and is compounded into a tacky, heavy consistency for excellent adhesion.
Armor Plate Construction and Industrial Grade Grease is a No. 3 NLGI grade. It’s heavy consistency and tacky, adhesive qualities make it ideal for heavy duty equipment where exceptional stay-put properties and extremely high load carrying capacity of the grease is required. Reduced costs based on reduced consumption and reduced downtime are achieved, equipment protection is maximized.
