Product Uses
  • Wear demanding applications.
  • Ideal for wood flooring.
  • Highly recommended for residential, commercial & sport applications.
Recommended Systems

Wood:

  • Newly sanded floors: 1 coat ProCoat Splashdown Wood Sealer with 2 - 3 coats of H2Oil® or 3 - 4 coats of H2Oil®. When coating over stains allow stain to dry per manufacturer’s directions or longer depending on atmospheric conditions. A test area is recommended to insure compatibility with stain.
  • Recoating existing surfaces: Abrade with appropriate screen or conditioning pad and apply 1 - 2 coats of H2Oil®. When recoating existing surfaces compatibility must be determined by applicator.
Application Procedures
  • Wood: Shake coating vigorously for 30 - 45 seconds and then let sit 10 to 15 minutes before applying. Pour a 6" to 8" wide line of finish along the starting wall. Follow the grain of the wood. Draw a clean, pre-dampened applicator forward. Following the grain of the wood, move the finish toward the opposite wall. Hold the applicator at a snowplow angle to maintain a wet edge at all times. (Maintain at least 3" wide wet edge at all times to ensure proper coverage rate.) To prevent lapping and dry marks make sure you’re using recommended coverage of 450 - 500 square foot per gallon. Do not spread too thin. When cutting in floor, never work more than five feet ahead of the person applying the finish. For smoothest results before applying final coat, buff with conditioning pad. Always vacuum and tack thoroughly with a slightly water dampened mop or cloth after abrading.
  • Roller Application: The use of 10 mm or 3/8th microfiber rollers are suggested. Applicator should evaluate the application and use the appropriate roller material and size determined by the porosity of the substrate being coated.
