1 of 5 products in this brand
Prokol Protective Coatings Rocathaan Hotspray PA 260-FR is a highly reactive and solvent-free hot spray coating, based on high-quality aromatic pure polyurea. Due to its quick curing, any shape can be coated seamlessly. This product once cured, a soft and tough-elastic top layer is formed. It is developed as a seamless roofing system for new and old roofs and also for polyurethane spray foam and other substrates.

Applications & Uses

Application Area
Application Method
Application Information
  • Spraying pressure: Depending on the type of pistol and mixing chamber.
    • Fusion CS gun 130 – 140 - 160 bar
    • Fusion AP gun 150 – 180 - 200 bar
  • Usage:
    • 1.12 kg/m²/mm From 1 mm.
    • The applied layer thickness determines the final properties and must be adjusted to the purpose.
    • Read the relevant application sheets.
    • There are different conditions or pools and basins.
  • Surface temperature Min. +5 ºC
  • Open time*:
    • With the same product: Almost directly and max. within 24 hours
    • Tanks/basins: max. within 12 hours Solvent free: min. 24 and max. 36 hours
    • Solvent-containing: min. 3 and max. 36 hours.
    • Open times can decrease as the temperature rises.
    • When exceeding the open time, the existing layer must be sanded and provided with a suitable primer.
  • Chemical resistant*:
    • After 3 x 24 hours Each Prokol product has varying levels of resistance to specific chemicals.
    • Chemical concentrations are complex and are strongly influenced by the environment and temperature.
    • Contact Prokol technical support for specific recommendations.
  • Mechanical resistant*:
    • After 2 x 24 hours
  • Cleaning agent: Roca Cleaner N6500-P (equipment)
  • Rinsing agent: Roca Cleaner TC-N
Mixing Instruction
  • 2-component products must always be mechanically mixed, preferably with a continuously adjustable mixing machine/drill (300 - 400 RPM) or another suitable mixer/whisk.
  • As a guideline, the diameter of the mixer/whisk must be at least 1/3 of the diameter of the container in which the product is mixed in.
  • First mix component A until it is a homogenous mixture.
  • Add component B (completely drained or scraped) to component A and mix at least 2-3 minutes until it is a homogenous mixture.
  • To exclude unmixed materials (bottom/sides) are processed, transfer the mixture to a clean mixing bucket/tub and mix again.
  • When using additives such as quartz sand or the like, only add when the mixture is a homogenous mixture.
  • After adding, please mix thoroughly again.
  • When mixing parts, both components must be mixed separately and carefully and weighed accurately.
Notes During Application
  • 2-component products may only be applied when the relative humidity is less than 85%.
  • The minimum surface temperature is +5°C and the temperature of the surface to be treated and the uncured product must be 3°C above the dew point.
  • See the dew point table. The curing process occurs more quickly at higher temperatures and slower at lower temperatures.
  • The potlife is partly dependent on the product temperature.
  • Ensure good ventilation during curing. Insufficient ventilation, notably on the floors of swimming pools and other basins, bottoms of trailers, may result in slow and irregular curing of the applied primer layer.
  • Entrapped solvent can lead to blistering and debonding of a subsequent layer.
