1 of 2 products in this brand
Humuslight® Leonardita is concentrated solution of fully soluble humic and fulvic acids from leonardite for fertigation, especially indicated to improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil. Its application improves the structure and water retention capacity of the soil, stimulates root development and favors the growth of beneficial microorganisms for plants, which translates into a greater agronomic response by crops in terms of yield and quality.

Features & Benefits

Product Highlights

Humuslight® Leonardita is an amendment that increases the concentration of organic matter in the soil due to the contribution of humic and fulvic acids. It improves its structure, cation exchange capacity, nutrient availability, root growth and the proliferation and activity of beneficial microorganisms.

Chemically, humic substances consist of plant material resistant to further decomposition, decomposing substances, complexes resulting from decomposition (either by hydrolysis or by oxidation and reduction), and various compounds synthesized by microorganisms.

With regard to water, when applied to clay soils humic acids can help reduce compaction allowing greater water penetration and better growth and development of the root zone. When applied to sandy soils, humic acids add the essential organic material needed for water retention.

Instructions for Use & Application

It is recommended to apply the product diluted in the irrigation water at the following recommended doses:

  • Citrus, fruit trees, olive trees, vines and bananas: Make 3 applications throughout the crop cycle with a total consumption of 40-60 l/ha. Apply a treatment during budding or flowering, a second treatment during post-flowering and a third during fruit development.
  • Horticultural and ornamental: Make 3-4 applications throughout the crop cycle with a total consumption of 35-40 l/ha. Apply the first treatment one week after planting or transplanting and the rest at intervals of 15 to 30 days.
  • Extensive crops: In flood or sprinkler irrigation, make 2-3 applications throughout the crop cycle with a total consumption of approximately 50 l/ha.

Note: These recommendations are of a general and indicative nature, and must be adapted by a qualified technician based on agronomic and edaphoclimatic factors.
