Application

MODAREZ® MFP B is an acrylic based additive which improves the flow and spreading qualities of paints, varnishes and inks in non-aqueous medium. MODAREZ® MFP B is FDA 175.300 approved which allows its use in food packaging applications. In addition it shows following characteristics:

  • Improvement of the flow and spreading
  • Improvement of the substrate wetting
  • No interference with inter-coat adhesion

MODAREZ® MFP B is compatible with most resins, especially: chlorinated rubber, 2 K polyurethanes, oil free polyesters, alkyds, epoxy, acrylics nitro cellulose. MODAREZ® MFP B is not compatible with cellulose acetate and ethyl cellulose.

Method of Use and Recommended Levels
  • MODAREZ® MFP B can be added at any stage of the production process as delivered or diluted in a solvent for better handling
  • Addition amount – 0,1- 2 % on total formulation.
