Application

MODAREZ® PW 336 is an acrylic based additive with free hydroxyl functional groups which improves the leveling and flow of paints and inks in aqueous medium.. MODAREZ® PW 336 is FDA 175.300 approved.

MODAREZ® PW 336
• Improves the leveling and flow
• Improves gloss of the paint
• Eliminates craters and fish eyes
• Reduces orange peel and pin holes
• Does not interfere with inter-coat adhesion
• Acts as defoamer and air release agent
• Improves substrate wetting
• Crosslink with catalysts reacting with OH functional groups.

MODAREZ® PW 336 can be used in the most common water based resin systems.
MODAREZ® PW 336 is infinitely soluble in water. It is also soluble in the majority of alcohols, more especially isopropanol and glycol ethers.

Method of Use and Recommended Levels

• MODAREZ® PW 336 can be added at any stage of the production process.
• Addition amount – 0,5- 3 % on total formulation.
