Application

MODAREZ® X 043 is a high performance additive that improves surface wetting. Is especially suitable for applications where good substrate wetting is required. Examples include: wood finishes and sealers applied on big pore sized woods, OEM clear coat on metallised substrates, base coats and epoxy coatings on porous concrete.

MODAREZ® X 043:

• Improves substrate wetting
• Improves leveling
• Prevents craters formation
• Acts as an anti-foam/air-release agent
• Doesn’t interfere with inter-coat adhesion
• Doesn’t give haze in clear coat.

Due to its excellent compatibility characteristics MODAREZ® X 043 can be used in a wide range of coating and ink formulations.

Method of Use and Recommended Levels

• MODAREZ® X 043 can be added at any stage of the production process.
• Addition in paints – 0,5-2,0% on total formulation.
