MODAREZ® X 074 is especially designed to improve the surface aspect in eliminating defects of aqueous coatings such as crawling, fish eyes, and some forms cratering.
It improves the uniformity of film and avoids the break of film in curtain applications.
It can be used in various industries : coatings, inks, adhesives, technical textiles…
MODAREZ® X 074 displays the following advantages:- Easy to disperse in waterborne coating
- Better spreading of film
- No reduction of gloss
- No tendency to give haze
- Silicone free
- APEO free
- Very low surface tension : 26 dynes/cm at 1% into water
- No impairment of Intercoat adhesion

- Method of Use and Amounts
- MODAREZ® X 074 can be added at any stage during the paint production process.
- Amount to use vary from 0.5 to 2 % on total formulation.
