- MOUSSEX® 7134 HE consists of molecules that have the capacity to combine with those of bubble walls, thus provoking their disruption and eliminating foam.
- MOUSSEX® 7134 HE prevents the formation of micro and macro foam during production and application processes. Although MOUSSEX® 7134 HE has been developed specifically for styrene-acrylic, acrylic, vinyl- acetate, vinyl-versatate and vinyl-acrylic based emulsion paints, it can be used in any other aqueous preparation causing foam formation. Unlike silicone antifoaming agents, MOUSSEX® 7134 HE does not generate unwanted secondary effects related to film appearance and can be easily incorporated into the medium with low shear forces.
- Method of Use and Amounts
- MOUSSEX® 7134 HE can be used either in post addition to solve an already existing foam problem or as preventive agent; it can be incorporated at any stage of the production process.
- Recommended dosage ranges from 0.1 to 1.0 % on total formulation.
- In any case it is advisable to carry out systematic tests beforehand, in order to assess the efficiency and the compatibility of the additive in the system and to obtain the right dosage.

- MOUSSEX® 7134 HE is delivered in 120 kg polyethylene drums on 600 kg shrink wrapped pallets or in 1000 kg containers.
Storage & Handling
- Storage Conditions
- MOUSSEX® 7134 HE should be stored in a cool dry place. In its original unopened container it will remain stable during 12 months at 20°C.
