MOUSSEX® S 667 is a silicone based air release agent. It avoids the formation of foam during manufacturing and prevents popping during drying / curing phase. It helps small bubbles to coalesce into large bubbles leading a quicker migration and bursting on coatings surface.
Recommended applications:- 2 K acrylic polyurethane systems for wood, plastics and car refinish
- 2 K epoxy solvent based and solvent-free
- Air drying systems based on acrylic, vinyl or chlorinated polymers
- NC laquer, acid curing and UV acrylic systems for wood coatings and general industrial systems
- Stoving enamels based on polyesters, acrylics and short oil alkyds.
- Method of Use and Recommended Levels
- MOUSSEX® S 667 should be added at the early stage of manufacturing process to prevent foam formation. If it is added to the finished product, care must be taken to ensure uniform distribution.
- Amount to use can vary from 0.1% to 1.0% on total formulation.
