Application

• SYNTHRO®-PON DB 50 is an additive for pigment dispersion. It reduces the interfacial tension between pigments/ extenders and the vehicle and consequently reduces dispersion time, stabilizes the pigment and decrease pigment sedimentation.
• SYNTHRO®-PON DB 50 is compatible with all solvent or solvent-free coating systems. In the dispersion of organically treated organoclays, it provides shorter dispersion time, easier handling of organoclay gels and improved storage stability

Method of Use and Recommended Levels

• 0.2 – 2.0% based on inorganic pigments
• 2.0 – 5.0% based on organic pigments
• For organoclay gels use 30 – 50% on clay
• SYNTHRO®-PON DB 50 when used in mill bases should be added before grinding. In organoclay dispersions use as follows: 85-87 parts of solvent
• 10 parts of Organoclay
• 5-3 parts of SYNTHRO®-PON DB 50
• 100 Parts
