SYNTHRO®-PON W 599 is a polymeric wetting and dispersing agent for inorganic and organic pigments pigment grinds, suitable for resin free and resin containing formulations.
The specific chemistry of SYNTHRO®-PON W 599 improves the wetting and the dispersion of a wide range of pigments, this result in:- Gloss improvement
- Higher pigment load
- Improved color strength
- Improved rheological behavior
- Improved pigment paste stability
- Prevents flooding and floating
SYNTHRO®-PON W 599 is completely water soluble and do not need any neutralization prior to use. Due to its specific structure, it is fully water diluable and fits the requirements of all VOC free formulation in various fields such as architectural coatings, wood coatings or industrial coatings
- Method of Use and Recommended Levels
SYNTHRO®-PON W 599 must be introduced in the millbase, before the addition of pigments. (Delivery form on solid pigment in case of slurry / resin free millbase)
- Titanium Dioxide 5 – 8 %
- Inorganic pigments 8 – 20 %
- Carbon Blacks 150 - 200 %
- Organic Pigments 60 - 110 %.

Storage & Handling

- SYNTHRO®-PON W 599 should be stored in a cool dry place, away from frost.
- In original unopened container it will keep 1 year stability at 20°C.
