The clove tree is an evergreen that grows to a height ranging from 8–12 m, having large leaves and sanguine flowers in numerous groups of terminal clusters. The flower buds are at first of a pale color and gradually become green, after which they develop into a bright red, when they are ready for collecting. Cloves are harvested when 1.5–2 cm long, and consist of a long calyx, terminating in four spreading sepals, and four unopened petals which form a small ball in the center.

The process of cleaning, washing, drying and packing is done in our warehouses. It is rigorously monitored and quality controlled.

PT. Naval Overseas Turpentine Oil / Alpha Pinene is derived from turpentine oil from Indonesia is a spirit distilled from Oleo Pine Resin. Traditionally, turpentine has been employed as a solvent or cleaning agent for paints and varnishes and this is still often the case today. There are also some specialized uses, in the pharmaceutical industry. Alpha Pinene and Beta Pinene, are two of the chief chemical components of Turpentine Oil. These pinenes are separated and purified by distillation. Mostly turpentine oil from Indonesia nowadays, is used as a source of chemical isolates which are then converted into a wide range of products. Many of these, including the biggest single turpentine derivative, synthetic pine oil, are employed for fragrance and flavor use, although there are also many important non-aromatic applications such as polyterpene resins. Pine oil is used in disinfectants, cleaning agents and other products having a "pine" odor. Derivatives such as isoborny Lacetate, camphor, citral, linalool, citrinellal, menthol and many others are used either in their own right or for the elaboration of other fragrance and flavor compounds. Many of the odors and flavors in use today, which are associated with naturally occurring oils, may well be derived, instead, from turpentine. A few of the minor constituents of turpentine oil from Indonesia, such as anethole, are employed for fragrance or flavor use without the need for chemical modification. PT. Naval overseas has its own plantation in Sulewesi and Sumetera, Indonesia from where where oleo pine resin is collected, which is main raw material, for gum rosin and gum turpentine. Turpentine oil is distilled at manufacturing unit in Tegal, around 400 kms from Jakarta, Indonesia. Quality control is of the highest standards.

Gum copal from Indonesia is a natural resinous material of plant Bur sera bipinnata. It has been used as pigment binder in varnishes due to the excellent binding properties.

PT. Naval Overseas Damar Batu is a resin is obtained through collection of the hardened resin exudates lying below the ground in fossilized form, close to the tree roots. The collected resin is then cleaned to remove mud and dirt residue and then sun dried. All grades of Damar Batu like, Bombay quality, Calcutta quality is supplied. Various high-quality grades of Damar Batu direct from the source is offered to fulfill clients' needs. Damar Batu is petrified natural resin of ancient shorean trees. It is much harder than other resins. It has brown and black colors with various sizes (from 1 cm to 20 cm).

PT. Naval Overseas Gum Benjamin has anti-pathogenic resins, which are exuded from the tree when it is damaged. It is used in perfumes, some kinds of incense, as a flavoring, and medicine. It is a common ingredient in incense-making and perfumery because of its vanilla ice-cream aroma and fixative properties. Gum Benjamin is also known as Benzoin resin or styrax resin is a reddish brown , aromatic balsamic resin obtained from the bark of several species of trees in the genus Styrax. It is s obtained from Styrax benzoin grown on the island of Sumatra. Deep incisions are made in the trunk of the tree, from which the grayish colored sap exudes. When the resinous lump becomes hard and brittle, it is collected from the bark.

PT. Naval Overseas Cassia Vera (Indonesia Cinnamon) contains essential oil (mainly cinnamic aldehyde) but does not contain eugenol. Indonesian Cassia Vera is normally found in West Sumatra in the region of the city of Padang. After harvesting, Cassia Vera is brought to processing warehouse in Indonesia where cleaning, drying, sorting, processing and packaging into different qualities takes place.PT. Naval Overseas are processors and exporters of cassia vera from Indonesia and can supply all grades of the same. Cassia vera from Indonesia is mainly shipped to Europe, India, Taiwan, Canada, USA &amp; Korea. Its gray bark layer is scrapped &amp; cleaned, only exist of yellow inner layer. Belonging to the Lauraceous family, Cassia Vera is the stem bark of the evergreen bush native to Indonesia. This reddish brown bark is peeled away from the bush in the form of quills which are then dried and cut to size / into thin strips or ground into powder. Cassia Vera from Indonesia has aromatic sensory qualities similar to its counterpart in Sri Lanka.

PT. Naval Overseas Pepper is derived from black pepper (Piper nigrum) which is a flowering vine in the family Piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. The fruit, known as a peppercorn when dried, is approximately 5 millimeters (0.20 in) in diameter, dark red when fully mature, and, like all drupes, contains a single seed. Peppercorns, and the powdered pepper derived from grinding them, may be described simply as pepper, or more precisely as black pepper (cooked and dried unripe fruit), green pepper (dried unripe fruit) and white pepper (dried ripe seeds). Once the peppercorns are dried, pepper spirit &amp; oil can be extracted from the berries by crushing them. Lampung pepper is from Indonesia's island of Sumatra. White Muntok pepper is another Indonesian product.
