Quechem SGL-100 Synthetic Lubricant

Quechem SGL-100 Synthetic Lubricant is a 100% Synthetic lubricant that will outperform any petroleum base product known on the market today because it has a flat viscosity curve versus temperature. The polymer based blend has been designed in such a way to take high loads and high and low temperatures without losing it’s film strength. It consists of polyalkyleneglycol (PAG) base stock which has been blended to produce a high performance synthetic lubricant. These lubricants are used in variety of applications and offer better performance at low and high operating temperatures.

Performance

Among other uses we recommend use in babbitt bearing found in ball mills, rod mills and also for thrust bearing found in rotary crushers.

It is now offered with a synthetic four micron graphite to add extra protection where there is extra load, unnecessary wear or where extra protection is needed.

Temperature Extremes

A good lubricant will maintain its viscosity at elevated temperatures preventing metal to metal contact, reducing friction and damage, and avoiding emergency shutdowns.

SGL-100 will withstand temperatures up to 440°F, while still offering excellent protection.

This product also has a very low pour point so it can still protect and lubricate at very low temperatures.

Research

SGL-100 is a synthetic compound and is not compatible with any oil-based lubricant.
