GEKKO

The QDEK® range was conceived by an innovative chemist who saw the need for a faster and cleaner bonding method for the installation of flat roofing membrane and insulation boards. The traditional bucket-and-roller application of contact adhesive is very slow, messy and labourintensive. QDEK® was developed as a fast, high coverage, and clean alternative to traditional single ply membrane adhesives. All that is required to apply QDEK® successfully is the ability to use a spray gun and a basic understanding of coverage and coat weights.

Tensorgrip® 115 Polystyrene Safe Spray Adhesive is a specially formulated adhesive that provides super tacky adhesion for foam and fabric applications. Tensorgrip® 115 remains tacky for the long term and never sets hard. Tensorgrip® 115 is safe for use on polystyrene and Provides single sided bonding of webbing to foam, fabrics and cork.

Tensorgrip® 701 Super Strength Contact Spray Adhesive is a super strength general purpose contact adhesive that performs many standard adhesive applications. This includes post-forming, bonding laminate, foam, fabric, sheet metal, leather, fiberglass plastics and laminates. Tensorgrip® 701 bonds melamine without the need for preparing the surface and also bonds carpet to staircases.

QDEK® 2000 Polystyrene Compatible Roof Membrane Adhesive is a high performance industrial web spray contact adhesive formulated specifically for bonding TPO/FPO flat roofing membranes to a variety of roof decks, including concrete, most insulation boards, plywood and cementitious boards. This material is particularly good for large area work. QDEK® 2000 membrane adhesive is a fast-drying formula and has excellent high coverage. 80% of final strength achieved in 24 hours. It has good moisture and weather resistance against elevated temperature exposure.

QDEK® 2003 EPDM Membrane Contact Adhesive is a high performance industrial web spray contact adhesive formulated specifically for bonding plain EPDM flat roofing membranes to a variety of roof decks, including concrete, most insulation boards, plywood and cementitious boards. This material is particularly good for large area work however it is suitable for detailed areas where smoothness of the membrane is critical.

Tensorgrip® 53 High Strength Spray Contact Adhesive is an all-round general purpose contact adhesive that performs many standard adhesive applications. These include bonding rubber, veneer, foam, fabric, most plastics, cool duct insulation, acrylic, leather and fiberglass. TensorGrip® 53 is compliant with stringent Californian VOC regulations and is therefore guaranteed to be safe for your workplace and customers. Tensorgrip® 53 has two special features: TensorGrip® 53 is resistant to solvent based lacquers used in the veneer coating process, and it bonds difficult rubber substrates such as EPDM.
