- Anti-microbial activity of BARRIANT, against Microorganisms in genital organs Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) is a common bacterium that can cause disease in humans. It is found in soil, water, skin flora, and most man-made environments throughout the world. Proteus mirabilis (P. mirabilis) is a Gram-negative, facultative anaerobic, rod shaped bacterium. It shows swarming motility, and urease activity. P. mirabilis causes 90% of all 'Proteus' infections in humans.

Broth dilution assay showed a significant anti-microbial effect of BERRIANT as a MIC 2.5%, 6.3% against each microorganism. These results indicate that BERRIANT might be used as a natural anti-microbial agent against vaginal microorganisms.
