Polyisobutylene is known for its tackiness, compatibility with solvents, resins and many elastomers while offering strong chemical resistance. RB offers multiple grades of domestically sourced Polyisobutylene.

At RB Products, we proudly supply a diverse product line of conventional (PIB) and high reactive polyisobutylene products (HR-PIB). HR-PIB products are bright, clear, viscous specialty chemicals. HR-PIB has an increased polydispersivity index when compared to conventional PIB. We offer HR-PIB 2300MW, a high methyl-vinylidene polybutene typically used in the manufacturing of lubricant and fuel additives, emulsifiers, adhesives, and rubbers. RB Products manufactures and supplies an extensive line of additive componentry, designed to enhance end-product specifications. As part of our additive componentry line, we offer Zinc Dithiophosphate 8. RB ZD 8 is a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate lubricating oil additive. It is generally used with detergent‐dispersant and acid neutralizing additives in engine oils, hydraulic fluids and other industrial oils. This additive provides oxidation, copper‐lead bearing corrosion and wear control in diesel and gasoline engines. It is particularly effective over a broad range of service conditions, from low temperature gasoline engine to high temperature diesel and industrial oil applications.

RB Products manufactures and supplies an extensive line of additive componentry products, which provide performance enhancements when added to a chosen base oil mixture. As part of our additive componentry offerings, we provide Alkyl Phenol 90%. Alkylphenol (90% para) is derived from propylene tetramer and phenol. RB Alkylphenol 90% is particularly suited for applications where high para isomer content is desired such as an oxidation inhibitor and as an intermediate for the preparation of lubricating oil additives, inhibitors, etc.

RB PIBSA is a polyisobutylene succinic anhydride (PIBSA) derived from highly‐reactive, 1000 molecular weight polybutene. It is produced via a chlorine-free thermal process. RB PIBSA is commonly used as an intermediate in the manufacture of oil-soluble dispersants for lubricating oil applications and in the manufacturing of emulsifiers for various applications, including explosives and metalworking.

RB Naphthenic 150 is a refined distillate (18% aromatics), is used as an oilfield solvent, used in metal working, etc.
