- Applications
A field of application of RECKLI Epoxy BT in building construction is, for example, base- or wall coating in garages, workshops or factory buildings. In civil engineering, it is suitable for coating pipes, shafts, retention basins or, particularly, separators for light liquids according to prEN 858-1
- .- Processing
Before processing, the base component must be stirred up thoroughly. Add the hardener (B) to the base component (A) and mix them homogenously. Transfer the mixture into a second receptacle and stir it up again. Once mixed, the processing of the material must be completed within the pot life ( 35 – 40_x001e_ minutes). Mixing larger quantities decreases the processing time. RECKLI Epoxy BT is best applied with a brush or a roller.

Technical Details & Test Data
- Surface Preparation
The substrate must be stable, sound, dry, clean and free of oil, grease or wax. Concrete or other cement-based substrates should have a minimum age of 4 weeks. A base coat with RECKLI Epoxy GS is recommended to ensure high adhesiveness and to fill defective spots and blowholes in the same working step. RECKLI Epoxy BT is best applied if the base coat is still slightly wet but not displaceable anymore, however, after _x001f__x001e_ hours at the latest
- Consumption
300 - 500 g/m² per application.
Safety & Health
- Safety
- Protect skin and eyes from material splashes. Provide sufficient ventilation in the working place. Please consult the relevant safety data sheet and attend to the indications on the label of the package regarding the Dangerous Goods Regulation. This pamphlet is intended solely as an application directive. It does not claim to be binding and valid for all modes of application. A preliminary test under operation conditions is highly recommended.
