Product Information

Restrictions:

  • Do not treat irrigation ditches or water used for crop irrigation or domestic uses.
  • Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system.
  • Rates of use of this product must not exceed 2 pints per acre, per application; and 4 pints per acre, per year.
  • ates of use of dicamba acid equivalent must not exceed a maximum single application rate of 1.0 lb. per acre; and an annual application rate of 2.0 lbs. per acre.
  • These restrictions apply to this product and possible mixtures with other products containing dicamba.

Resistance Management:

  • Dicamba 49.8% SL has a low probability of selecting for resistant weed biotypes, tank mixes and rotation with herbicides possessing other modes of action are recommended to avoid weed resistance.

Sensitive Crop Precautions:

  • Dicamba 49.8% SL may cause injury to desirable trees and plants, particularly beans, cotton, flowers, fruit trees, grapes, ornamentals, peas, potatoes, soybeans, sunflowers, tobacco, tomatoes, and other broadleaf plants when contacting their roots, stems or foliage.
  • These plants are most sensitive to Dicamba 49.8% SL during their development or growing stage.

  • It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
  • Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift.
  • Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.

Precautionary Statements

  • Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.
  • Open dumping is prohibited.
  • This product may not be mixed, loaded, or used within 50 feet of all wells including abandoned wells, drainage wells, and sinkholes.

Pesticide Storage:

  • Store in the original container in a well-ventilated area separately from fertilizer, feed and foodstuffs.
  • Avoid cross-contamination with other pesticides.
  • Spillage or leakage should be contained and absorbed with clay granules, sawdust, or equivalent material for disposal.

Pesticide Disposal:

  • Triple rinse pesticide from containers and use rinsates in the pesticide application.
  • Wastes that cannot be used according to label instructions may be disposed of on-site or at an approved waste disposal facility.

Container Handling:

  • Non-refillable container.
  • Do not reuse or refill this container.
  • Offer for recycling if available.
  • Triple rinse container (or equivalent) promptly after emptying.

Triple Rinse as Follows:

  • Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or mix tank.
  • Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip.
  • Fill the container ¼ full with water and recap.
  • Shake for 10 seconds.
  • Pour rinsate into application equipment or mix tank or store rinsate for later use and disposal.
  • Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip.
  • Repeat this procedure two more times.
  • Then offer for recycling if available or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by incineration or, if allowed by State and local authorities, by burning.
  • If burned, stay out of smoke.
