Product Information

Flumioxazin 44% SC:

  • Provides residual control of susceptible weeds.
  • Provides additional burndown activity when used as part of a burndown program.
  • Can be applied as part of a fall burndown program for control of susceptible winter annuals.
  • Can be applied with a hooded or shielded sprayer, as well as part of a lay-by application, in selected crops for post-emergence weed control as well as residual control of susceptible weeds.
  • Can be used on farms for non-selective vegetation control to maintain bare ground non-crop areas that must be kept weed-free.
  • Read tank mix product label for rates and weeds controlled.
  • Always read and follow label directions for all tank-mix products before using.
  • The most restrictive labeling of any tank mix product must be followed.
  • When Flumioxazin 44% SC is applied according to label use directions, will control the weeds claimed in crop-specific use directions.
  • This label makes no claims concerning control of other weed species.

Directions for Use
  • It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
  • Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift.
  • Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.
  • For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible for pesticide regulation.
  • Unless otherwise directed in supplemental labeling, all applicable directions, restrictions, precautions and Conditions of Sale and Warranty are to be followed.
  • This labeling must be in the user’s possession during application.

Precautionary Statements

Storage & Disposal
  • Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Storage:

  • If container is broken or contents have spilled, follow all precautions indicated above and clean up immediately.
  • Before cleaning up, put on full length trousers, long sleeved shirt, protective gloves, and goggles or face shield.
  • Soak up spill with absorbent media such as sand, earth or other suitable material and dispose of waste at an approved waste disposal facility.

Pesticide Disposal:

  • Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous.
  • Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spray mixture, or rinsate is a violation of Federal law.
  • If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency or the Hazardous Waste representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance.

Container Handling:

  • Nonrefillable container.
  • Do not reuse or refill this container.
  • Triple rinse container (or equivalent) promptly after emptying.
  • Triple rinse as follows: Empty the remaining contents into application equipment or a mix tank and drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip.
  • Fill the container 1/4 full with water and recap.
  • Shake for 10 seconds.
  • Pour rinsate into application equipment or a mix tank or store rinsate for later use or disposal.
  • Drain for 10 seconds after the flow begins to drip.
  • Repeat this procedure two more times.
  • Then offer for recycling, if available or puncture and dispose of in a sanitary landfill, or by incineration, or, if allowed by State and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.
