The 7060S CLEAR version is an accelerated version that offers faster responsiveness important and reduced working time. Two hardeners are available: a slow (7064) & a fast (7067) depending on the desired reactivity. The gelcoat hardens at room temperature and can be unmolded without post-curing. Nevertheless, post-curing will make it possible to obtain
optimal thermomechanical properties.

- It is recommended to store at least 24 hours in advance and to use the products at a temperature close to 25°C in order to facilitate mixing and application of the product.
- The application of a slow laminating epoxy resin over the freshly applied gelcoat is possible to ensure good adhesion with the laminating resin. In all cases of Gelcoat 7060(S) CLEAR / 7064 or 7067 can be applied by brush or paint roller.
- A lower temperature increases the viscosity of the mixture as well as its gel time. tests must be carried out in order to validate the method before application on an industrial scale.
- For information, it is possible to cover the gelcoat with a laminating resin as long as the surface is still tacky. This tack time is to be determined according to the temperature of the workshop. We recommend sanding and degreasing the gelcoat before lamination if it has gone beyond tack and the surface is already hard.

- The usual precautions for the use of epoxy resins must be observed. Our safety data sheets are available on request. It is important to wear protective clothing and avoid skin contact with the products. In case of contact, wash thoroughly with soapy water. In case of eye contact, wash thoroughly with lukewarm water.
