Applications
  • RIANOX® 1790 is especially suited for polyurethane, polypropylene, polyester and polyamide fibers where it provides at low dosage. The performance benefit of RIANOX® 1790 includes the minimal color contribution, good solubility/migration balance and excellent compatibility with light stabilizer and secondary antioxidants, e.g. RIANOX® DLTP/DSTP.
  • In addition, RIANOX® 1790 has a high molecular weight, which results in low volatility and good extraction resistance.
  • In molding applications it is particularly recommended for filled systems where extraction resistance is an issue.
  • Its excellent gas-fade resistance is especially beneficial for polyurethane fibers. It can be used as well in polyolefin fibers.
