    MFI / MFR

    • The melt flow index (Meltflowindex, MFI) or melt flow rate (Meltflowrate, MFR) is measured according to DIN EN ISO 1133. It is used to determine the flow properties of plastic melts and is given in g/10min.

    Residue on Ignition

    • The residue on ignition is measured according to DIN EN 3451-1 and is used to determine the quantitative content of inorganic fillers and reinforcing materials. We use the ashing method using a muffle furnace. With this method, the organic content is burned and the remaining inorganic residue is weighed, evaluated and finally given in %.

    DSC Analyze

    • Our thermal analysis method DSC is operated according to DIN EN ISO 11357-3 and is used to determine the thermal properties of polymers. With its high information content, dynamic differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is an indispensable test method, both in incoming goods inspection and in the manufacture of our regranulates.

    Residual Moisture

    • Moisture has a decisive effect on the suitability for processing, usability and quality of the plastic products to be manufactured. Information about the moisture content and its monitoring is therefore extremely important. We therefore deliver our regranulates with a residual moisture content of less than 0.1% in order to ensure optimal processing, usually without pre-drying.
