    Applications

It is used as a vulcanising agent in so called ‘sulphurless’ systems where it has the advantage over TMTD of not producing an unsightly bloom, but at the expense of slightly inferior aging properties. Suitable for producing light-colored and/or non-staining vulcanisates and its activity makes it particularly well suited to producing economic cure systems for lower unsaturation level polymers such as IIR, EPDM and HNBR.
