Technical Details & Test Data
- MeristeM: Designed to improve skin resistance to stress
Meristematic cells are rich in Phenylpropanoids (secondary plant metabolites responding to stresses such as wounding, UV and pollutants).
Their protective action through antioxidant and free
radical scavenging properties is due to their molecular structure as well as a strong chelating affinity for metals.
MeristeM principles are also able to inhibit the release of pain nervous mediator PGE2 through an antagonist action on TRPV3 nociceptive system, that open and allow
Ca2+ flow activating several signal pathways including cyclogenase leading to PGE2 release, responsible for skin acute nociception & hyperalgesia.
Regenerative intensive action to stimulate and activate skin tissues, MeristeM especially targets pain processes before or after stress, for the blooming of a relieved naturally beautiful skin.- In-vitro efficacy dossier: lenitive effect
- Measure of the capacity to interact and modulate the main receptor of keratinocytes (TRPV3 channel), sensitive to heat and some kind of chemicals.
- 1% MeristeM inhibits the nociceptive system up to 54.7% in 24h.
- Test Data
- In-vitro test: diminution of TRPV3 nociceptive PEG2 release
- In-vivo test: available on bibliography
- Efficacy control: decrease of TRPV3 nociceptive activity (at every batch)
