- VGP & EAL Compliance
The Environmental Protection Agency defines an EAL as not being sheen forming; containing at least 75% readily biodegradable components, with the remainder being non bioaccumulative; and meeting aquatic toxicity EC50 levels of at least 1000mg/l, tested against algae, arthropods and fish. Clareguard BioMarine WR meets these criteria, having been tested by accredited laboratories according to methods OEDC301B, OECD201, OEDC202 and OECD203, and we therefore certify that it is an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant.
