RussTech Inc ES-2000

ES-2000 is specially formulated for cost efficient production of concrete masonry and pipe units. It has the ability to aid in the dispersion of cement particles to promote better early strengths. Masonry and pipe units manufactured using ES-2000 have a better appearance (medium to heavy swipe depending on materials) and are less abrasive on mold equipment.

Uses

ES-2000 may be used wherever increased and improved masonry production is required. It is particularly useful in:

  • Concrete Block
  • Concrete Brick
  • Dry-cast concrete pipe
  • Paving Stones
  • Specialty Landscape Units
Compatibility

ES-2000 is fully effective and compatible in all dry cast concrete containing all types of Portland cement, class C and F fly ash, silica fume, calcium chloride, fibers and approved water-reducing, accelerating, and retarding admixtures. ES-2000 can be used in white, colored, and architectural concrete.

Dosage

ES-2000 addition rates range from 2 to 8 ounces per 100 pounds (130 to 525 mL per 100 kg) of cement. For best results, ES-2000 should be dispensed separately into the mix after 70% to 80% of the initial batch water. ES-2000 should never be allowed to come into direct contact with dry cement. Allow ES-2000 to mix two minutes for maximum efficiency.

Storage

ES-2000 should be stored at temperatures above 35 F (2 C) degrees. Although freezing does not harm the performance of ES-2000, precautions should be taken to protect it from freezing. If it should freeze; thaw and reconstitute with mechanical agitation. Do not use pressurized air for agitation.
