Product Highlights: Boswelline® CG, a inflammatory obtained from natural anti- ingredient dried gum exudates of Boswellia serrata, is standardized for a minimum of 40% ß-Boswellic acids and 10% 3-0-Acetyl-11-Keto-ß-Boswellic acid (AKBBA). Anti-inflammatory properties of the gum resin is attributed to the presence of "boswellic acids". AKBBA is reported to be active against a large number of inflammatory conditions.

Boswellin® CG blocks two pro- inflammatory enzymes 5-lipoxygenase and human leukocyte elastase, thereby supporting skin texture and integrity. Inhibiting inflammation is known to be an effective approach to slow skin aging.

Formulation Guidelines: Use stainless steel (SS316) vessels for production Avoid contact with Iron or copper

Solubilize Boswellin CG in one of the recommended solvents before adding itto emulsion below 40°C

Nonionic and anionic emulsifiers are to be used

Maintain the pH of the formulation slightly acidic, preferably between pH 5.0 - 6.0

Boswellin® CG can be gelled using thickeners such as carbomer, acrylates copolymer and lecithin

Opaque packaging is recommended for the finished product formulation

Protect the finished product from exposure to direct heat and light

Boswellin® CG is suitable for use in creams and translucent to opaque gels/ serums

Boswellin® CG is not suitable for use in clear gels/serums/toners

Use antioxidants and photostabilizers in the formulations
