- Product Highlights
- Boswelline® CG, a inflammatory obtained from natural anti- ingredient dried gum exudates of Boswellia serrata, is standardized for a minimum of 40% ß-Boswellic acids and 10% 3-0-Acetyl-11-Keto-ß-Boswellic acid (AKBBA). Anti-inflammatory properties of the gum resin is attributed to the presence of "boswellic acids". AKBBA is reported to be active against a large number of inflammatory conditions.
- Boswellin® CG blocks two pro- inflammatory enzymes 5-lipoxygenase and human leukocyte elastase, thereby supporting skin texture and integrity. Inhibiting inflammation is known to be an effective approach to slow skin aging.

- Formulation Guidelines
- Use stainless steel (SS316) vessels for production Avoid contact with Iron or copper
- Solubilize Boswellin CG in one of the recommended solvents before adding itto emulsion below 40°C
- Nonionic and anionic emulsifiers are to be used
- Maintain the pH of the formulation slightly acidic, preferably between pH 5.0 - 6.0
- Boswellin® CG can be gelled using thickeners such as carbomer, acrylates copolymer and lecithin
- Opaque packaging is recommended for the finished product formulation
- Protect the finished product from exposure to direct heat and light
- Boswellin® CG is suitable for use in creams and translucent to opaque gels/ serums
- Boswellin® CG is not suitable for use in clear gels/serums/toners
- Use antioxidants and photostabilizers in the formulations
