Sabinsa Cosmetics Gallnut Extract (Quercus Infectoria Extract)

Gallnut Extract is a multifunctional skin conditioning agent extracted from the galls of Quercus infectoria, a small tree or shrub, that contains 80% polyphenols. This ingredient has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, astringent, and antioxidant properties. Its antioxidant properties have DPPH radical scavenging activity greater than vitamin C and oxygen radical absorbing capacity (ORAC) and Hydroxyl Radical Averting Capacity (HORAC) slightly greater than Grape seed extract. This product can be used in skin care products in creams and lotions to promote healthy skin texture and tone. This product is GMO free and Kosher certified.
